It may not feel like it yet, but springtime in New York is just around the corner. Once that final March snowfall hits (like it always does) we'll all be ready to shed the jackets in exchange for something lighter. That also means it will be time to show off any new ink you got during the winter.
Didn't get ink this winter? There are a plethora of reasons to get inked when the white stuff is falling but the biggest concern for aesthetics is sunlight.
Sunlight is one of the biggest contributors to tattoos prematurely fading. While it may seem great to get your new sleeve when the sun is shining bright, it can cause major fading to occur. Leave the sunblock at home and let the tattoo heal with less worry.
There are still a few weeks before the top four layers of coats can come off so if you've been thinking of getting a new tattoo, now is the time.
Stop by the shop or give us a call now to schedule an appointment before the warm weather rush.
Edit Mar 15, 2017: Told you we would have that final March snowfall.
